I enjoyed this challenge. After researching the play I wanted to create a look which was about the emotions and climax to this dramatic ending.
I have done my own interpretation of Casta Diva. before you is the woman so deeply in love that she has reached the point of insanity and evil.
Jealousy, pain and anger have her at her lowest and darkest moment for she is contemplating killing her children, But ends up killing herself.
After researching the play My inspiration for this styling was the emotions, running in the scene before her death. I felt this was the most dramatic of climax. I went Avante Guard mixed with Haute as she was a (priestess) for this one as i felt i needed a very dark macabre scene.
